Roanoke Jones - Elementary
Lesson Goal: The children learned that it is okay for us to have doubts. However, when we have doubts, we should ask questions.
Main Point: I Will Ask Questions When I Have Doubts!
Bible Story: The mystery of who Jesus is. (Luke 7:18-23)
Memory verse: "When doubts filled my mind, your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer." Psalm 94:19 NLT.
Choose one person in the family to be the Leader. Have the Leader say the Main Point out loud. The other family members should repeat it after the Leader in a call and response fashion until each family member can say the Main Point without help.
Ask your children about their favorite teacher either at school or church. Ask your children what made this teacher their favorite?
Roanoke Jones Jr. - Pre-K and Toddlers
Main Point: God Made Our World
Bible Story: Overview of Creation - Genesis 1
Take time this week to read the whole story of God creating the world in Genesis 1, stopping after each of the seven days to talk about what He created that day. Listen to the excitment in your child's voice as he remembers what God created each day.
Check in later this week for more family fun activities.
