I Will Learn From Others’ Mistakes!
Have each family member repeat the Main Point over and over for one minute each. See who can say the Main Point the most times in a minute while still being understood.
BibleVerse: “Don’t do as the wicked do, and don’t follow the path of evildoers.” Proverbs 4:14 NLT
Read theBibleStory together: Daniel and the Mysterious Writing on the Wall. (Daniel 5)
Ask your child of a time when he or she saw someone else do something wrong. What was learned from seeing that situation?
Learn From Others
We sometimes see other’s mistakes. We should learn from their mistakes. As a family, watch a children’s show together this week. Discuss what the main character did in the show. What choices did that character make? Did he or she do the right thing or the wrong thing? What could have been done differently? Discuss what you can learn from the main character of the show. Remind your child that we can learn a lot from people who do the right things, but we can also learn from the mistakes
others make.

God Made The Animals!
Bible Story: Genesis 1: 24-25
Read the story of God creating the animals in Genesis 1:24-25, and talk to your child about all the different animals they can think of and how God made all of them.
Activity: Cookie Corral
During one of your child’s snack times this week, play a game of Cookie Corral. Get some animal crackers and sort through them together, figuring out what kinds of animals they are, how they’re the same, and how they’re different. One time, you might have your child organize them by ‘two-legged’ or ‘four-legged’ animals. Other times, you might have them sort the animals by who has horns and who doesn’t or who lives in the water or out. Afterwards, talk to your child about how no matter what they look like or where they live, God made all the animals on Earth.
