More Activities for the Week

Elementary

Questions Read(Luke 7:18-23). We learned from our Bible Story that even John had doubts! It’s okay to have doubts. Doubts help us look over things and want to find out more. However, you can’t stay doubtful all the time though. You need to ask the right questions from the right people. Together as a family, make a book of questions. Have each person think of one question he or she wants to know more about. Write it down at the top of a page in your book. Each day, pick one question to find out the answers. Use the computer or books, make a trip to the library together, or ask your pastor to find out the information. Remind your child that having doubts is a part of life. Asking the right questions of the right people is important, but even more important is praying to God and asking Him to help you with your doubts!

Pre-K and Toddlers

Activity: World Walk Take a walk with your child this week, and point out all the things you see that God created. Point out the birds, the insects, the trees and flowers, the grass and dirt, and the sky. When you get back home, spend some time praying with your child to thank God for all the wonderful things He created.

See you next Sunday for our End of School "Funday Sunday"
