This Week in NewLife Kids

Allaso Ranch - Elementary

WHAT WAS THE MAIN POINT? God Is Awesome, So I Will Worship Him!
WHAT WAS THE BIBLE VERSE? “You are worthy, O Lord our God, to receive glory and honor and power. For you created all things, and they exist because you created what you pleased.” Revelation 4:11 (NLT)
WHAT WAS THE BIBLE STORY? The Israelites Build the Tabernacle (Exodus 25 and 40)
MAIN POINT ACTIVITY: Work as a family to create a cheer using the Main Point. Make up motions or do a dance while you perform your cheer together. Create pom-poms or megaphones to use while doing your cheer. Repeat your cheer until everyone can say it by themselves.

READ THE BIBLE STORY TOGETHER: The Israelites Build the Tabernacle (Exodus 25 and 40)
Tell your children of a special time of worship you had in your life. What made it special to you?

WORSHIP GOD:
The Israelites worked hard to build the Tabernacle. They gave their best as an act of worship to God. God is worthy of our worship, and we need to always give our best to Him in everything we do. Because of who God is and everything He has done, we know that He is the only one worthy of our worship.

Plan a special family time of worship one night this week. Have family members come ready to share something as an act of worship. They could play an instrument, sing a special song, read a scripture or recite one from memory, or read a special poem they wrote and read it aloud. Whatever family members choose to do, they should do it to the best of their ability. Encourage your children to give their best when they worship God through prayer, reading their Bibles, tithing, and singing.

Allaso Ranch Jr. - Pre-K and Toddlers

Main Point: God Made Me To Give!
Bible Story: The Macedonians’ Gift - 2 Corinthians 8:1-5, Romans 15:26-27
Bible Verse: “When God created human beings, he made them to be like himself.” Genesis 5:1b (NLT)

Family Activity
This week, your child learned about giving to others in order to help them. The people who lived in Macedonia didn’t have much to give, but they made the choice to help the people in Jerusalem who needed money because the people of Jerusalem had told them about God.

Just like the Macedonian people, we should be excited to give what we have to help others. This week, work together as a family and make a list of some items you have that others might need. Walk through the house with your children and help them point out different items to put on the list. Decide on one of those things to give to someone else who needs it and give it to them.
Encourage your children to give to others when they see someone in need.
