Ministry Opportunities

NewLife Kids has two ministry opportunities at this time. 

 

1)  We have been blessed by babies being born to our NewLife family.  With this blessing comes an opportunity to minister to these families by volunteering in our infant nursery.  Each and every Sunday morning we have one or two volunteers in our nursery.  We would love to have you become a part of this ministry. 

In Luke, chapter 18:15-17 it says: “One day some parents brought their little children to Jesus so he could touch and bless them. But when the disciples saw this, they scolded the parents for bothering him. Then Jesus called for the children and said to the disciples, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to those who are like these children. I tell you the truth, anyone who doesn’t receive the Kingdom of God like a child will never enter it.”   NewLife Kids is built on this scripture about Jesus calling children to come to Him and learn of His ways.  In order to do this we need volunteers who love God and in turn love people and are willing to give one Sunday a month to minister to our youngest children.  Please contact debbie@newlifewired.com

 

2)  We also have a great group of NewLife Kids that spend extra time at NewLife each and every Sunday.  They are the children of our faithful volunteers.  Some of them arrive at NewLife around 8 am each week.  For some time we have had a Pre-Service Ministry that runs from 9:15 to 10:00 am each and every week.  This is a time that we play games, do crafts, sing songs, talk about important life events and always show the kids how important they are and how loved they are.  NewLife Kids mission is to show kids God’s love and help them love church.  These are our future volunteers and leaders and this is a time to instill that love in  their lives.  There is an opportunity for you to minister to these children and still attend service every Sunday.  Please contact debbie@newlifewired.com
