Main Point: I Will Be Faithful!
Write the Main Point on a piece of paper. Say the Main Point together as a family. Repeat it but cover up one word of the Main Point. Continue this process until each person can say the Main Point with all the words covered up.
Bible Verse: “...pursue righteous living, faithfulness, love, and peace. Enjoy the companionship of those who call on the Lord with pure hearts.” 2 Timothy 2:22b (NLT)
Bible Story:David’s mighty men. (2 Samuel 23:8-17)
Family Activity: Faithfulness
David’s men who helped him and followed him were faithful to him. They didn’t stop doing what they said they would do or give up when things seemed hard. This week, buy some plants or flowers at your local store and plant them in pots as a family. Have one pot of flowers for each family member and write his or her name on the pot. Read the instructions for caring for the plants out loud. Each family member should be faithful to take care of his or her own potted plant throughout the week. Encourage your family to faithfully follow the instructions and make sure that the plants are well taken care of. Just like David’s men were faithful, God wants us to be faithful also.

Main Point: I Will Say Nice Things!
Bible Story: Jesus’ Triumphant Entry(John 12:12-18, Matthew 21:8-9)
Bible Verse: “Do what is right and good in the Lord’s sight, so all will go well with you.” Deuteronomy 6:18a (NLT)
Family Activity Say It Nicely
This week, your children learned it is important to say nice things. Play a game together as a family. Choose one person in advance to be the Meanie and mess up the game on purpose. For instance, if you choose to play Candy Land together, then the Meanie might decide to make his or her piece go backwards when it’s his or her turn. Each time the Meanie makes a mistake, have one family member say something nice to him or her.
After every family member has made a nice comment to that person, switch the person who does things wrong and make nice comments to the new Meanie. God wants us to say nice things to others. This week, encourage your family to say nice things to each other.
