Main Point: I Will Help Others In Need!
Have each family member come up with a way they could help someone, and act it out. Then everyone should say the Main Point. For example: your child could go get a pencil and hand it to you and then everyone should say “I Will Help Others In Need!” or you could pick up one of your child’s toys and then everyone should say “I Will Help Others In Need!”
Activity: I Can Help
As a family, choose someone in your neighborhood to help in a tangible way, either by doing household chores, or yard work, or by providing a meal. Another possibility is to see if your family could serve a meal in a rescue mission or help pass out food boxes to families in need. Encourage your children to participate actively and remind them that they are helping others in need.

This Week in NewLife Kids!
This week we began our new series - City Streets!
Elementary
Lesson Goal: The children will learn that we can only experience the life God has planned for us if we are obedient to Him. We should follow and obey God even when we aren't sure what the outcome will be.
Bible Story: The call of Abram.
Main Point: I Will Follow God!
Bible Verse: "Be careful to obey all these commands I am giving you. Show love to the Lord your God by walking in his ways and holding tightly to him." (Deuteronomy 11:22 NLT)
Pre-School
Lesson Goal: The lesson will help the children learn: I Will Obey.
Bible Story: Abram obeys God. (Genesis 12:1-7)
Main Point: I Will Obey!
Parents & Kids - Try reading the chapter from your Bible Story at home together! Reading the Word of God together as a family can help bring you closer to God and each other!

New Series Starts This Sunday!

Welcome to the City! And don't worry, you're not the only new kid in town. Michelle just moved here with her dad and she is helping her new friends, Molly and Zane, learn what it means to be a follower of God. We'll sing, dance, and learn right along with them as we take a look at some important moments from the life of Abram in the Bible. Stretch before you arrive and get yourself warmed up. You're going to be a part of City Streets: The Musical.
