Getting Into Mark

NewLife Kids has challenged all their school-aged kids and parents to read the book of Mark together throughout an eight-week span. If you'd like to join us & haven't received the reading plan, please email debbie@newlifewired.com or andrea@newlifewired.com, and we'll be happy to get you one. It's a perfect time to jump in!
As you read with your kids, here are a few things you may want to take note of and discuss:

Mark is one of the four gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke & John). Gospel means "good news." The Good News is Jesus Christ!
This is the shortest of the four gospels, and it portrays Jesus on the move. Notice as you read through how He's active and instantly responsive to the Father's will.
Did you notice in Chapter 1 that Jesus chose ordinary people to be His disciples? That's because he doesn't need highly trained people to do His work. He wants to use everyone! That includes you, us and the kids. We just have to follow Him and be obedient, and great things will happen!

We hope you enjoy reading through the book of Mark with your family. We'd love to hear how it's impacted you and what you've discovered. During the reading of this book, please send us a email or grab Debbie or a teacher to let us know your story.

See you tomorrow!
