Merry Christmas from NewLife Kids!!

THIS WEEK IN NEWLIFE KIDS

Professor Playtime's Christmas Shop of Wonders - Elementary

Lesson Goal: The children will learn that the reason Jesus was born was so He could take the punishment for our sins so we could be forgiven.

Main Point: Jesus Is The Greatest Gift!

Bible Story: Jesus’ gift to us is Salvation. God’s promise of Salvation and the Gospel story (Various parts of the Gospels)

Bible Verse: “For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16 (NLT)

Family Activity:

Read The Bible Story Together: (Luke chapters 2, 23, and 24.)

Ask your children to explain to you why Jesus was born and died on the cross.

Jesus Saves

Jesus didn’t just come to make people happy, or so that we could sing songs and give gifts. Jesus came to give us the gift of salvation. To do that, He had to die on the cross for our sins. This week, work with your children to think up different times they could be sharing with others the good news of Jesus Christ. Ask them if they have any friends who they want to know about Jesus’ gift of forgiveness. Make a calendar of the week and write one friend’s name on each day. Commit to praying as a family for that person to accept Jesus gift.

Professor Playtime's Christmas Shop of Wonders Jr – Pre-K and Toddlers

Main Point: I Will Tell Others About Jesus!

Bible Story: Anna (Luke 2:36 – 38)

Bible Verse:  “Furthermore, we have seen with our own eyes and now testify that the Father sent his Son to be the Savior of the world.” 1 John 4:14 (NLT)

Family Activity:

Read The Bible Story Together: (Luke chapters 2:36-38.)

Ask your children to explain to you what Anna did.

Telling Others

Anna didn’t keep Jesus just for herself.  Anna told others about Jesus.  Talk to your child about the importance of telling your friends and family about Jesus.

Merry Christmas to ALL!  Take time to share the gift of Jesus with your family this week.
