This Week in NewLife Kids

Starlight Station - Elementary and Pre-K

Main Point: Servant Leaders Want Others To Succeed

Bible Story: Joseph’s brothers sell him into slavery Genesis 37:12-36

Memory Verse: “A peaceful heart leads to a healthy body; jealousy is like a cancer in the bones.” Proverbs 14:30 NLT

Can you imagine having your brothers wanting you dead? Or selling you into slavery? If they did what would you do? This week we learned about what Joseph did in the face of adversity after adversity. He did not get mad or feel sorry for himself - he made the most of the situation. He did his best and encouraged others around him to do their best. He did not resent others succeeding - but cheered them on. Because of the way he lived his life others were watching and in the end Joseph was rewarded for the way he lived his life. Let's use Joseph's life as an example and encourage others to succeed around us.

**Remember** to bring your canned food item to serve others.

Adventures with Veggie Tales - Toddlers

Main Point: God made everyone different for a special reason.

Memory Verse: “Christ has accepted you. So accept one another in order to bring praise to God.” Romans 15:17

Bible Story: The Conversion of Paul Acts 9:1-19

This week we learned that God made us special so that we can do what he made us to do. I love watching our toddlers. Even at such a young age, I can see different character traits in them. Some are greeters, some are comforters, some are leaders and they are all working together to learn more about God each week.

See you next Sunday - have a good week!
