Leadership: I will use what I have learned to be a good example for others!
Activity
Choose one person in the family to be the Leader. Have the Leader say the Main Point out loud. The other family members should repeat it after the Leader in a call and response fashion until each family member can say the Main Point without help.
Bible Verse: “And you yourself must be an example to them by doing good works of every kind. Let everything you do reflect the integrity and seriousness of your teaching.” Titus 2:7 NLT
Read the Bible Story together: Paul gives advice to Timothy (Acts 16:1-5)
Ask your child to tell you of their favorite teacher either at school or church. What made them their favorite teacher?
Learning And Leading
We learned in the Bible Story that Paul was teaching Timothy so he could turn around and lead and teach others on his own. When you are a leader it is your responsibility and privilege to teach others what you know. This is especially true when it comes to telling others what you know about God. As a family, make a poster about God. You can draw pictures showing what you know or write words that explain what you know about God. Remind your child that as we learn new things about God, it is our responsibility to teach others what we know. Place the poster somewhere in your house and add to it each time you learn something new about God!

God Has Big Plans For Me!
Bible Verse: Jeremiah 29:11a (NLT) - “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ says the Lord.”
Bible story: Gideon story (Judges 7)
Family Activity
Sunday, your child learned that God has big plans for them! He knows everything about them and thinks they are extremely special. There is no one else exactly like them! This week, sit down as a family and talk about the plans God has for your child right now. He wants them to pray, read the Bible, go to church, and obey their parents. Discuss the plans God has for your family right now. He wants you to pray together, show kindness to others, and respect each other. As a family, have each member draw a picture of themselves doing something that is part of God’s plan. Explain to your child that God has plans for them to do now and big plans for them in the future, too. Even though they don’t know what God’s plans are for them in the future, they can do God’s plan for them right now.
