ADVENTURE WEEK
We have had so much fun this week as we spent time getting away and getting to know God. Let's see
- on Monday we learned that God is love, so I know that God loves me
- on Tuesday we learned that God is our guide, and we should follow Him
- on Wednesday we learned that God is creative and He designed us to be
creative as well
- on Thursday we learned that God provides for our needs, so we should always
be grateful.
Be sure to join us on Sunday for our closing Adventure Week Family Service at 10:15. Following the service we will have a water slide available for the kids to play on - so wear or bring appropriate clothes. We also will have hot dogs, chips and cookies. Make plans to stay and let the kids have some fun.
Thank you to all who volunteered and all those attending each night!

More Activities
Main Point: I Will Believe God’s Promises!
Try to see how many silly voices your family can use to say the Main Point. Here are some to get you started: An opera-style voice, a country singer voice, a silly accent, a low growly bear voice, a high-pitched mouse voice.
Ask your children why they think Sarah laughed. Then ask them if they think it would be hard to believe God. Why or why not?
Activity: Believe Bracelet
Make a Believe God bracelet from beads and stretchy cord. Use whatever beads you have handy, or find alphabet beads to spell Believe God. Remind your children that they can always trust God to keep His promises. If someone hurts them or breaks a promise, they can be reminded by the bracelet that God will always keep His promises.

More Activities
Main Point: I Will Give Back To God!
Play Hot Potato with a timer and a soft ball or stuffed animal. Whoever ends up with the hot potato has to say the Main Point three times fast. Play until everyone has caught the hot potato.
Ask your children if they like winning. Then ask them if it would be hard to give some of what they won to God.
Activity: Create a Tithe Plan
Help your children create a tithing plan with their money. Take an envelope and write the Main Point, “I Will Give Back to God!,” on it, and then let your children decorate the envelope. Put the envelope next to your children’s piggy bank or jar, and help them get it to church each week. Include them in a small portion of your family finances and let them see you plan your tithe.
